The Quake was designed by Dirk Loots, an amazing South African born knife maker who made his way to the USA to live the American Dream with his family. Dirk has become a mentor to several knifemakers due to his fresh and artistic design skills of various cutting instruments. One of those influenced makers is Dusty of Duckhead Forge, who made this beautiful rendition of the Quake. The Quake features a sleek gentlemanly design shape, with a protruding pommel end that adds to the functionality of the knife by adding a slightly pointed pommel...but also a place to put a lanyard if that's your style as well. The sleek design makes it a beautiful daily carry model, for those upscale nights on the town.
